I’m happy to be volunteering at the Strathcona Midwifery Collective! As a recent graduate of public health I learned about how important midwives are in the medical system and was eager to get involved.

I hope to gain more knowledge and understanding about the profession while I work here and see first hand how it supports people through their pregnancy

The Strathcona Midwifery Collective is a collective of Registered Midwives who provide excellent family centered care for pregnancy, birth, and after the baby is born.

We believe that cooperation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration between midwives and families is the basis for the best possible care for growing families. We honour all forms of families and care for families who live in Vancouver.
